vinaigrette for salads!
12 oz blackberries
2 C white wine vinegar or champagne vinegar
Rinse berries and gently pat dry. Place berries in a 1 quart mason jar. Heat vinegar until very warm; pour over berries. Cover; let steep in cool, dry place about 10 days. Pour vinegar and berries through cheesecloth to strain seeds and pulp. Store in a cool, dry place.
Obviously, you could use this recipe with raspberries too. :)
